Kaylee S. Herzog

Ph.D.

I am a parasitologist and evolutionary biologist with expertise in taxonomy & systematics and genomic methods. I received my masters and Ph.D. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Kansas (KU). My doctoral research focused on shark & ray tapeworms in the order Trypanorhyncha. I am currently working as a postdoctoral research associate with Dr. Joseph Fauver at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) studying a variety of parasites and pathogens, with a central focus on human hookworm.
